This VSOP Cognac is aged for four years in French oak barrels, followed by six months in Mizunara (a particularly fine-grained species of Japanese oak). The end result is a smoothly rendered spirit with a hint of red fruit on the nose, coupled with a delicately oaky palate accented by vanilla, cinnamon and clove.
