Aged in oak foudres (large barrels) for 12 months before bottling, this French red is invitingly ripe on the nose, suggesting red and black berries tinged with earth. It enters the mouth smoothly, revealing its fruit and underlying minerality as it moves across the palate, closing with a gentle pucker of elegant tannins.
